Roads and Traffic is controlled by Council's Engineering Services Department. Council maintains a road network of over 1600kms.

This is made up of:

  • Regional road:   120kms
  • State road:   29kms
  • Local sealed road:   307kms
  • Gravel road:   753kms
  • Earth and unformed road:   380kms
