Magnolia Lodge

Located in Lockhart's main street, and surrounded by well-maintained gardens and lawns, the Lockhart Shire Council-owned portion of Magnolia Lodge consists of 3 single bedroom, self-contained units for independent living, being unit numbers 7,8 & 9. 

Each unit contains a Vital-Call Emergency System, a refrigerator and a washing machine. There is undercover car parking and storage sheds available. The garden and lawn areas are fully maintained by Council.

Health Services available within Lockhart Shire include:

  • Meals On Wheels
  • Home Care
  • Community Transport (to & from)
  • Assist in Personal Care

Rent at Magnolia Lodge is calculated on a percentage of the maximum single person’s pension (not inclusive of pharmaceutical allowance).

An in-going contribution of $5,000 applies to Units 7, 8 & 9 and is required to be paid in full prior to a new resident taking up occupation (Payment arrangements may be negotiated)
