About the Awards:

The Lockhart Shire Business Excellence Awards celebrates and recognises local business for their achievements.

The Awards are a joint collaboration between the Rotary Club of Lockhart and Lockhart Shire Council, and are open to all Shire businesses.


2017 Lockhart Shire Business Excellence Awards - Results

Lockhart Shire Council and Rotary would like to thank everyone who attended the inaugural Lockhart Shire Business Excellence Awards presentation evening held on Wednesday, 22 February 2017.


The evening was an outstanding success and a shared celebration highlighting the hard work and contribution of all businesses in our Shire.

Entry Details:

Entry to the 2017 Lockhart Shire Business Excellence Awards is open to all businesses located within Lockhart Shire, with nominations open between 1 December 2016 and 3 January 2017.

Entry forms will be available in shopfronts throughout Lockhart Shire and can also be downloaded here:

Additional entry forms will be available at the Council Administration Offices. Completed entry forms are to be returned to Lockhart Shire Council, PO Box 21, Lockhart   NSW   2656.

Categories:

Members of the community can nominate based on the following categories:

•     Young Entrepreneur (18-35)

•     Employee of the Year

•     Business Leader

•     Excellence in Small Business

You can enter as many times as you like however you can only nominate a business or person once per category.

Finalists:

Finalists will be selected based on the number of nominations received in their specific category, and will be notified of their selection on 24 January 2017. Finalists will receive a Finalist Pack that includes an Invitation to the Lockhart Shire Business Excellence Awards Presentation Evening, the Judging Criteria including a brief questionnaire and General Information about the Awards.

Finalists will be judged based on a two stage process:

•     Information received by each business (Qualifying).

•     30 minute interview with judge(s) (Judging).


Awards Evening:

The Presentation Evening to be held at the Lockhart Ex-Servicemen's Club will be a ticketed event which will include talks by Industry Leaders / Experts, an evening meal and the naming of the Lockhart Shire Business Excellence Award winners. The evening is an ideal opportunity for business owners to share the accolade of becoming a finalist with their family, friends and staff. The evening acknowledges everyone's hard work and contribution to the business' success - a shared celebration of the business' achievements.

The Winner in each category will receive a Trophy and Certificate, with the runner up receiving a Highly Commended Certificate. The Winner of the overall Lockhart Shire Business Excellence Award will be selected from the four finalists and will receive a Trophy and Certificate.
