Council Policies, Plans and Reports

Policies are resolutions of Council to guide the management of an issue.

Many Council Policies are enforceable as law under the Local Government Act or other legislation. Others simply state the overarching intent of Council on an issue - they constitute a direction to the General Manager.


POLICIES CURRENTLY SUBJECT TO REVIEW

The following policy will be considered for adoption by Council at its May 2017 meeting.

Anyone wishing to comment on the policy is invited to submit such written comment to the General Manager.  Submissions are to be received by Council no later than Friday, 5 May 2017.
