Magnolia Lodge
Located in Lockhart's main street, Magnolia Lodge is made up of 9 single bedroom self-contained units for independent living.
Each unit contains a Vita-Call Emergency System, a refrigerator and a washing machine. There is undercover car parking and storage sheds available.
The garden and lawn areas are fully maintained by Council. The Lockhart & District Community Service provide a wide range of services to tenants.
These services include:
*Meals On Wheels
*Cleaning Services
*Community Transport (to & from)
*Assist in Personal Care
*Neighbour Aide & Respite Care
Rent at Magnolia Lodge is calculated on a percentage of the maximum single person’s pension, (not inclusive of pharmaceutical allowance)
An in-going contribution of $30,000.00 applies to Units 1 to 6 (inclusive) and is required to be paid in full prior to a new resident taking up occupation.An administration fee of 5% of this sum is payable at 6 monthly intervals over a minimum period of 10 years.
Any prospective resident with any questions whatsoever regarding the in-going contribution is urged to contact Council before proceeding.
