The Rock Cemetery

The Rock cemetery is located approximately 1.5 kms in an easterly direction from The Rock township along The Rock/Mangoplah Road, turning of onto Lodge Road.
The Rock cemetery is similar to Lockhart cemetery in that it has both a monumental section and a lawn section including a columbarium wall. The cemetery is surrounded by gum and pepper trees with a view of The Rock Hill in the distance. Paving between the plaques gives the lawn cemetery a very neat appearance. The monumental section of the cemetery is separated into religious denominations.
