Born: 3 May 1946, Lockhart NSW, son of Ralph and Barbara Fischer "The Peppers" Boree Creek
Education: Boree Creek Public School, Xavier College Melbourne
Career: Army Officer 1966-69; Member for Sturt 1971-80; Member for Murray 1980-84; Member for Farrer 1984-2001; Leader of the National Party 1990-99; Deputy Prime Minister 1996-99; Minister for Trade 1996-99. Assists organisations such as: St Vincent de Paul Society, Smith Family, Salvation Army, Fred Hollows Foundation, Frontier Services and Autism NSW.
