Pleasant Hills Hall

Pleasant Hills was proclaimed a village in 1892. A plaque situated outside the Hall was unveiled on 12 November, 1992 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the area as a village.

The Public Hall built in 1912 from local timber is one of the features of Pleasant Hills, and is one of the finest examples of pine buildings in the region.

The Hall is well maintained and is used regularly by the Pleasant Hills community.

The backdrop behind the stage is a mural painted by a local artist which portrays a couple dancing.

A display cabinet in the Hall houses interesting memorabilia. The key to the Hall is available at the general store/post office. A free electric barbecue facility is available beside the Hall. On the southern side of the Hall is a Garden of Remembrance to local families where small trees have been planted in their honour.
